Lessons are harder when children learn outside, in temporary rooms or in crowded spaces. A school needs furniture, safe sanitation and a reliable water source.
We work with school leaders, teachers, parents and education partners to understand each school's priorities. The right response differs from school to school.

Practical infrastructure supports the whole school day. We start by working with the school, the community and district education officers to determine what package of support works best.

Classrooms, desks and teaching surfaces can make lessons more comfortable and accessible.

We work with local construction partners and schools to plan a suitable learning environment, using environmentally responsible techniques.

Water, sanitation and inclusive facilities can be an essential part of a school’s infrastructure priorities.
Each project is planned around the needs identified with a school and its education partners.
