We don’t just build infrastructure, we empower whole communities – pupils, teachers and parents – to transform government and community schools into thriving learning environments that build brighter, better futures.
The story of how African Revival started and how our founder, Tony Allen, used his extensive business experience and knowledge of Africa to create a charity which directly impacts local communities.
We are a small charity with offices in the UK, Uganda and Zambia and partners in South Sudan. We believe in providing work opportunities for local people which is why our field offices are entirely locally-run.
African Revival's work is governed by a board of trustees & members to the board - drawn from the diverse worlds of education, finance, law and business.
Transparency and Accountability are central to the way we operate. We keep administrative costs to a minimum to ensure donations make a greater impact through our programmes.
Every member of the African Revival team share our core values - creating equal access to education.
