At African Revival, we believe that our work transforming education requires more than just buildings — it requires a holistic, community-led approach. That’s why our work focuses on interconnected areas that together create lasting change in nursery and primary schools.
African Revival is part of a global movement to achieve several of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, but particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education.
We use eco-friendly ISSB methods to construct inclusive classrooms, latrines and water sources and provide furniture to create environments conducive for learning for all children.
Many teachers in the areas where we work are unqualified volunteers and we provide basic teacher training to improve the quality of education at rural schools.
We promote Early Childhood Development by helping schools to establish nurseries and lay strong foundations for lifelong learning.
We empower girls to stay in school, while engaging boys and communities to break the stigma of menstruation.
